The process is designed to reduce surprises before production starts. Each step confirms the technical information needed for fit, material, construction, cost, and export documentation.
Submit the RFQ form with product type, target quantity, launch country, timeline, and any tech pack or reference links.
The team reviews construction, fabrics, trims, size range, labeling, packaging, compliance needs, and missing specifications.
Samples are developed for fit, construction, materials, print placement, and buyer approval. Lead times depend on design complexity and order volume - typically 2–4 weeks for samples.
After comments and revisions, the approved sample, bill of materials, colorways, size breakdown, and purchase order are locked before bulk cutting and sewing begin.
QC checks include measurements, seam strength, stitching, elastic application, print quality, labeling, packaging, and final AQL process.
Finished goods are prepared for export with documentation for USMCA/CUSMA where applicable, then shipped by truck, air, or freight forwarder.
Swimwear.mx has a minimum order quantity of 300 units per style. This MOQ applies to private label swimwear, custom cut and sew swimwear, white label swimwear, and most product categories including bikinis, one-pieces, trunks, kids swimwear, rash guards, and activewear.
Pricing starts at $12 per unit for basic styles, with most orders falling between $12 and $30 per unit depending on fabric (standard nylon-spandex vs. recycled fabrics like REPREVE or ECONYL), design complexity (number of components, printing, custom hardware), and order volume. Finished swimwear made by Swimwear.mx can ship duty-free to the United States and Canada under USMCA/CUSMA when rules of origin and documentation requirements are met. IMMEX also supports duty-deferred import of materials into Mexico for export manufacturing.
