Tech pack
A technical document that tells a manufacturer how to make a garment, including measurements, construction, materials, trims, grading, labels, colorways, and artwork.
MOQ
Minimum order quantity. Swimwear.mx has an MOQ of 300 units per style.
CMT
Cut, make, trim. A manufacturing model where the buyer usually supplies materials and the factory cuts, sews, and finishes the garments.
FOB
Free on board. A trade term that defines when goods transfer from seller to buyer for freight responsibility and cost.

A manufacturing model where the factory can support development, sourcing, sampling, production, packaging, and logistics.
Gusset

Sublimation

REPREVE
A branded recycled fiber often used in performance and swimwear fabrics.
ECONYL

Grading
The process of scaling a sample pattern into a full size range.
Marker
A cutting layout that arranges pattern pieces on fabric to reduce waste.
AQL
Acceptable quality limit. A statistical inspection method used to decide whether a production lot meets agreed quality standards.
Lab dip
A dyed fabric color sample submitted for buyer approval before bulk fabric production.
Bill of materials
A list of all materials needed for a garment, including shell fabric, lining, elastic, thread, trims, labels, and packaging.
